Glass jar. Culture: Roman, Eastern Mediterranean. Dimensions: 2 5/16 in. (5.8 cm) Other: 2 3/16 in. (5.6 cm) Diam. of rim: 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm). Date: 3rd-4th century A.D.. Colorless with light green tinge, with same color trail and ribs. Solid rim folded out, over, and in; short, concave neck; sides of body sloping out downward; pushed-in bottom with prominent pontil scar. Slender trial wound three times around neck; eleven vertical, slightly slanting ribs of varying length on body. Intact; some bubbles; little pitting and weathering.
