Flint gun with battery lock, associated with torque. An octagonal barrel of blued steel, slightly broadening at the mouth. At the front part of the barrel is a visor grain of steel. The barrel is decorated with gold leaf bands at the mouth and at the tail piece, the part at the sun-hole is completely gilded. The top of the barrel is marked with gold. Number is stamped in at the top of the loop. The soul has so-called 'hair pulling'. The tailpiece consists of a separate block with a square hole in which the hook-shaped cap of the barrel fits. There is a visor bar on the tail section. Slot: Flint battery lock, blued steel. The rear part of the lock plate is on a lower level and is engraved with an eagle on a tree branch, the rooster is decorated with engraved leaf and pine cone motifs. The lock plate of the pistol bears inscription and of the pistol (2) ARQUEBUSr DE L'EMPEREUR. The locks are marked on the inside. Wood: (polished) walnut, flattened flask which is closed at the bottom, diamond-shaped grooved neck. Fittings: steel (blued): individual plates around the lock bolts, decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and beaded edges, trigger guard with representations of a flower basket, garlands, acanthus leaf motifs and an eagle on a tree branch, flat, octagonal butt cap, at the bottom one in gold crustation, representing a lightning bolt (antique model)., ARQer.
