Sancho D‡vila y Daza (Avila, 1523-Lisbon, 1583). Spanish military, so-called "Rayo de la Guerra" (Ray of War). He fought against the Turks under the command of the Duke of Alba. He also fought in Flanders and seized Antwerp in 1576. Felipe II entrusted him with the surveillance of the coasts of Granada in 1578.
