The man is wearing brown pants and a gray jacket over a blue-gray smock, a brown-white neckerchief and a top hat. Around the tondo, the panel is light beige with paint keys; top left a sketch of an interior with counter floor. Signed bottom left. The painting is in a gilded wooden frame with a round opening, 1953.
