Abandoned The Ministry of Supply have announced today that orders for the production of the new Vickers-Armstrong long-range jet transport aircraft, the V.1000, have been cancelled. They say the question of re-equipping Transport Command of the R.A.F. has been under review and as a result, the orders given for the V.1000 have been cancelled.
