They operate behind the tapestry, as shown in the picture at top, and mirrors are used to enable them to watch the progress of the design when they are actually seated at their task. A Wedding Present From The Women Of England: This 14 ins. by 101 ins. book, in red skin and tooled in gold, will shortly be presented to Princess Elizabeth. Mr. Stephen Gooden's Original Design For The Queen's Tapestry: The Royal arms are showing impaling quarterly, 1st and 4th, the arms of Bowes Lyon.
