Titel: Alchemical Text "Mutus Liber", 1702
Untertitel: Siehe automatische Übersetzung
Mutus Liber was an alchemical text published in France in the later half of the 17th century. The book contained only images, no words, and described a certain path to the Philosopher's Stone. In the third plate of the Mutus Liber Jupiter holds in his right hand a scepter crowned, left the Sun, the Moon right. In the center, three circumscribed circles, the outer circle is itself divided into three parts: the first part, the most important, is composed of three sets of horizontal lines multiplied by two each time (2 - 4 - 6), a peacock doing cartwheels luminary is accompanying a goddess. The lower part shows a siren, the left ten white birds may be doves. The middle circle shows the top symbols of spring and the flowering seems like the middle part in the background and is Aries and Taurus can be seen. The lower part shows the alchemical couple left with the woman holding a lantern and right, the man holding a fishing rod that falls in the outer circle. The inner circle represents the boats moving in the sea in the foreground, Neptune in his chariot armed with his trident which exceeds the circle and ends the alchemical couple; further, a boat where we see evolve the alchemical couple.
