Above are putti holding a scroll on which is written gloria in altissimis deo. Below, the holy house stands out against an azure blue sky. Some Catholics believe this to be the house in which the Virgin Mary lived. Legends claim the same house was flown over by angelic beings from Nazareth to Tersatto (Trsat in Croatia), then to Recanati, before arriving in Italy.
