After twice being held up - once by an ambulance which broke down and again by an ambulance which arrived late - Miss Unity Mitford, just back in England from Germany, left Folkestone for the home of her father, Lord Redesdale at High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. She was accompanied by Lord and Lady Redesdale. Miss Mitford, a friend of Hitler, was reported to have been shot in the head, but is now stated to be seriously ill.
