A farewell scene has been sculpted in relief in the balustrade: two women wave goodbye to a ship, including the text 'Vota sequuntur euntem', our good wishes accompany those who leave. On the balustrade on the right you can see the spouses' weapons. An incense burner (Asia) on the carpet. The upper side of the painting is a (now weathered) mirror, historical persons - BB - woman, Hope, 'Spes', 'Speranza divina e certa' (Ripa), one of the Three Theological Virtues, Canton, Andreas Everardus van Braam Houckgeest, Catharina Cornelia Geertruida van Reede van Oudtshoorn, anonymous, Kanton, c. 1790, glass, oil paint (paint), gypsum, painting, h 50.0 cm × w 39.5 cm × d 4.5 cm.
