Aust Services, Aust, South Gloucestershire, 1971. Large service station at the English end of the Severn Road Bridge, serving the former route of the M4 motorway. The motorway opened in 1966 and was the main arterial route to South Wales for 30 years. The service station closed after the opening of the Second Severn Crossing in 1996 but has been replaced on a new site called Severn View Services.
