Edward Teller

Edward Teller (1/15/08 - 9/9/03), an Hungarian-born physicist, was known as the father of the h-bomb and for his contributions to the development of nuclear weapons. During World War II, Teller worked with Oppenheimer on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. He also taught at various universities, was a consultant at The Lawrence Livermore National Lab, and was an advocate of Reagans Star Wars Project.
