Former Olympic sculling champion, Bobby Pearce, was the helping hand" on Strike It Rich this week and won £54 for an absent contestant, Mrs. L. M. Donald, of Latrobe, Tasmania. Now a Lieutenant-Commander in the Canadian Navy and in the Ontario, at present in Sydney, Pearce has been renewing many friendships in his own country.
