Apsley House, Westminster, London, 1853. The Duke of Wellington's London residence, Apsley House, also known as No 1, London. It was originally built by Robert Adam in the 1770s but Wellington employed Benjamin Dean Wyatt to undertake extensive renovations to the house after he purchased it in 1817.
