Fordingbridge , Hants : Famous painter , philosopher and philanthropist Augustus John who is 83 tomorrow , 4th January 1961 , in the study of his home , Freyn Court , with his step-granddaughter Talitha , aged 20 . Talitha , the step-daughter of Augustus John's daughter Poppet lives in St Tropez with Poppet and her husband , Dutch painter Willem Jilts Pol. A former TV and magazine model , Talitha has just finished studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and hopes to start her acting career . And she's been helping Augustus John to celebrate his birthday a few days early over Christmas .. 3rd January 1961
