Simón Lecue Andrade. Player formed in the Alavés sports team, from where he came to Betis. He played both as a midfielder and as a left interior player. He was born in Arrigorriaga (Vizcaya) on February 11, 1912. He debuted in the first division on December 7, 1930 in the real Sociedad-Alavés match, which ended with a two-goal draw. With the Alavesista team he played two seasons in the first team and in 1932 he signed for Betis. He played for the Verdiblanco club for three seasons and was part of the team that won the league champion in the 1934-35 season. At the end of that season he signed for Real Madrid, a team in which he played four seasons with the break of the Civil War. He ended up at Valencia, where he played another four seasons. In total, in the first division he played 248 games, in which he scored 59 goals. In Betis, Specifically, He Played 55 Games and Scored 24 Goals.
