Farben chemical trust directors sit in dock at Nuremberg, Germany, during 11-month trial which ended today with verdict that none of 24 on trial were guilty of backing Hitler's war of conquest but that 9 of them were guilty of looting industries in subjugated countries. In dock (left to right) front, are: Karl Krauch, Farben chairman, not guilty; Hermann Schmitz, guilty of looting; Georg Von Schnitzler, guilty; Fritz Gajewski, innocent, and Heinrich Hoerlein, innocent. Rear (left to right) are: Paul Harfliger, Max Ilgner and Friedrich Jaehne, all guilty of looting. July 29, 1948.
