Overturned  car  after hurricane Wilma,  Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. Wilma developed the lowest atmospheric pressure ever measured in the North Atlantic basin,  just 882 millibars.  It struck Mexico and then Florida in mid-October 2005. Wilma was the 21st named storm in the 2005 hurricane season,  and the later development of tropical storm Alpha was the first time that the pre-assigned list of hurricane names had ever been exceeded.
