Columbus's Ship, The Santa Maria, 1493. La Santa Maria de la Inmaculada Concepcion (Spanish for Holy Mary of the Immaculate Conception), or La Santa Maria, was the largest of  three ships used by Christopher Columbus on his first voyages.
