Caption: Charleston Farmhouse in Firle, Sussex was loaned this 1942 painting of Vanessa Bell by Duncan Grant by the Tate Gallery. Charleston Farmhouse was the country home of the Bloomsbury group and is now a house, garden, studio and art gallery in the South Downs National Park in Sussex. It is run by the Charleston Trust as an Arts Council England accredited museum. 26 March 1993. Picture by Roger Bamber
