The 142 ton steam yacht 'Sapphire' at anchor, 1913. The 'Sapphire' was built for the Duke of Bedford, by John Brown and Co., Limited, of Clydebank in 1912. In 1915 she was requisitioned and converted into an Auxiliary Patrol Vessel.
