The inner drawing in the lions is represented by line shading, in the eagle by line and cross shading. On the bottom is engraved with the diamond Alsz dies glas war alt tausent jahr Es Pfalzgraf Ludwig Philipsen verehret war: 1643, predatory birds: eagle, anonymous, Midden-Oosten, c. 1100 - c. 1200, glass, grinding, h 14.7 cm × d 13 cm.
