Longquan celadon tripod censer with dragon appliques, Yuan dynasty, China, late 13th-early 14th century. A Longquan celadon tripod censer. The globular body is supported on three stubby legs issuing from moulded monster heads. The sides are divided by vertical flanges rising to the short stepped shoulders beneath the everted rim. The neck is applied with three dragon appliques while the body is decorated with three animal mask appliques.
