Vera Leigh (1903 - 1944), British heroine of World War II, who served in the Special Operations Executive. Leigh was a member of the SOE's Donkeyman circuit and Inventor sub-circuit in occupied France during World War II until arrested by the Gestapo.[3] She was subsequently executed at the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp.
