1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. Artist: Unknown

1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was the idea of Wilhelm Karmann, who wanted to build a sports car based on the VW sedan. The car first appeared in 1955, and was the result of the union of VW, Karmann and the Ghia design studio. A total of 360,000 were produced and sold around the world. The car has been referred to as 'the world's slowest sports car' but its devotees were always prepared to sacrifice performance for the Karmann Ghia's graceful lines.
