Illumination titled 'Château de Saumur' from the Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry depicting the harvest. Five characters pick grapes while a man and a woman, apparently pregnant, rest. Clusters are deposited in baskets which are then emptied into baskets attached to mules. These hoods are themselves dumped in tanks loaded on carts pulled by oxen. The second plane is fully occupied by the castle of Saumur in the Anjou region already wine at the time. The towers are topped with weather vanes to lilies. At its surroundings, a contention is represented with its central bar and wall trellis. painted by the Limbourg Brothers, Herman Limbourg, Paul Limbourg and Johan Limbourg, famous Dutch miniature painters from the city of Nijmegen. Dated 15th Century.
