Rhind papyrus

The Rhind papyrus, also known as the Ahmes papyrus, dating to around 1650 BC in Egypt, is one of the earliest mathematical records to be found on a paper-like substance. It is a fragment from a reference book of everyday mathematics used by ancient Egyptians.
