The Marx-Engels-Forum is a monument complex built in the 1980s in Berlin-Mitte. It is located between Spandauer Straße and the Spree River, close to Berlin's city hall, the ?Red City Hall? Since the 1980s, the bronze sculptures of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels had stood at the Red Town Hall. Now they have to make way for the construction site for the underground railway. The old centre of Berlin is changing its face once again. The statues of Karl Marx (foreground) and Friedrich Engels at Marx-Engels-Forum. In the back
