Chips Rafferty and Sidney J. Albright Managing Director of 20th Century-Fox photographed in the latter's office this morning after it was announced that Rafferty had been selected to play one of the featured roles -- Sgt, East -- in "Desert Rats." Chips will leave for Los Angeles on October 30th and the picture will go into production shortly after his arrival. November 13, 1952.
