FK 23 Bantam, The aircraft consists of a fuselage constructed from wooden trusses with a skin of multiplex wood. The nose, with the star-shaped motor inside, is made of metal. A wooden propeller in front. The landing set consists of two wheels with rubber pneumatic tires mounted in a frame of metal tubes of oval cross-section. Two superimposed wings (double-decker), with metal posts and tension wires between them. The wings consist of a wooden frame that is covered with varnished banner. The upper wing has an oval opening at the height of the fuselage that provides access to the wicker seat for the pilot. Steering lever and pedals are present and working. The hull is painted off-white with the English registration number K-123. At the rear a black band with a central orange band is painted around the hull. Behind it the letters BAT and on the tail F.K. 23. On the bottom of the lower wing: K-123, aircraft, airplane, England, Amsterdam, Frits Koolhoven, London, 1918, wood (plant material), metal, canvas, rubber (material), stoel, s 762 cm l 561 cm × h 206 cm × w 378 kg.
