Rouleaux red blood cells, LM

Rouleaux (singular is rouleau) are stacks or aggregations of erythrocytes. Conditions which cause rouleaux formation include infections, myeloma, inflammatory and connective tissue disorders, and cancers. It also occurs in diabetes mellitus.
