The book, which is bound, contains a cover with a floral motif. The interior consists of unnumbered pages with only text, in black letters with red and blue accents. On the title page it says Here a boecken called onser prefers women to souter. Below it is a colored woodcut with the depiction of Mary, visited by the angel. The reverse side of the title page has the same woodcut, but not colored. Two pages later there is a colored woodcut with the depiction of Mary with the Christ child. The penultimate page ends with Gheprent to Leyden in Hollant. With mi Hugo Ians Sone van Woerden. On the last page is a mark, consisting of a rectangle with a shield containing the Leiden coat of arms, depicted as two crossed keys, 1908.
