Photoemission spectroscopy in ultra-high vacuum (UHV), Nanophysics laboratory, Materials Physics Center is a joint center of the Spanish Scientific Research Council CSIC and the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. Its research activity is mainly focused into basic aspects of materials science. Scientific activity in the laboratories and experimental facilities of the CFM deals with the morphology and electronic properties of nano-structured materials, polymers and soft matter, and photonic materials. In addition, an important part of the scientific research in the CFM is devoted to the theory and simulation of materials properties in the microscopic and mesoscopic scales, Donostia, San Sebastian, Gipuzkoa, Euskadi, Spain.
