Design for Meuble de Vestibule, Graphite, color pencil, brush and watercolor on cream paper, Wall elevation for entrance hall in renaissance-revival style (although it is called 'genre Boulle' in published drawing, see bibliography). Lower portion consists of console decorated with panels with carved urns, masks and a garland. Two metal (?) ewers flank a metal (?) covered vase on lower opening. Central portion dominated by a large mirror with floral arrangement below, niches on either side decorated with caryatids on pilasters, cups in the mannerist style and tazzas below. Upper portion consists of open pediment with covered cup and a demi-lune carving with cartouche and date (1873), flanked by volute-figures reclining on garlands of fruit, a covered cup on base at each end.
