The pattern consists of intersecting motifs in the form of larger and smaller leaves, leaf branches, curved lines and residual spaces filled with decorative grounds. The motifs are connected by a fine mesh soil. The motifs are made in linen with thicker and shiny contour threads. The faintly scalloped bottom comes from the pattern and is finished with picots. The top is finished straight. The short sides are finished with a hem., anonymous, Southern Netherlands, c. 1750 - c. 1770, linen (material), Mechlin (lace), l 26 cm × w 2.5 cm ×, 20.5 cm.
