CARL VANDYK. 'The Right Hon. David Lloyd George, Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury', c1918, (c1920). On 11 November 1918, he announced: 'The armistice was signed at five o'clock this morning, and hostilities are to cease on all fronts at 11 a.m. to-day'.
