A large cylindrical jar decorated on the exterior with a single band of lotus petals in relief round the mouth under the thin celadon glaze, and brown-slip outlined panels with stylized birds and flowers in relief and painted with a brown slip, the remainder under a celadon glaze. The interior is undecorated and unglazed.
