Professor Manolis Andronikos supervises excavations at the hill of Great Tumulus, Vergina, Greece. Andronikos discovered the tomb of Philip II of Macedon in 1977, and excavated Great Tumulus looking for the tombs of more Macedonian kings. Seven buried chambers were found in all.
