Washington, D.C.: June 21, 1935. Vice President John Garner administers the oath for Rush Holt to take his seat in the Senate. Although Holt was elected in West Virginia last November, he had to wait until June 19th when he turned the required age of 30 to be able to take his seat in the Senate. Senator M.M.
