Captain Edward Bodley was born in Chester in 1897 , received his early training as a cadet in HMS Worcester and served in the Royal Naval Reserve in both World Wars . He was wounded in the Zeebrugge assault and received the D.S.O , in Baltic operations in 1919 . He joined P&O in 1920. October 11th , 1956.
