VISA Dove Hologram

VISA dove hologram reflects different colors. The VISA dove shown here is an embossed hologram that is mass produced at low cost. An embossed hologram is a microscopic surface relief pattern. Optically, it is essentially a reflective diffraction grating. Since the diffraction angle is wavelength-dependent, the hologram seems to shift its colors when illuminated by white light and observed from different angles.
