League Of Mercy Garden Party At St. James's Palace -- Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal (Lady Grand President of the League) was present at the Garden Party at St. James's Palace to-day (July 20) held in aid of the League of Mercy. The Princess Royal received from Lord Luke, on behalf of the British Charities Association, a cheque for £3,000 for distribution to Provincial Hospitals.
