"Life of the Children of the Moon" by Georg Pencz (1500-1550), in the Folge der Planeten and "The Moon and Its Traits" by Hans Sebald Beham. Fishing scene. Fishing is an ancient practice dating back at least 40,000 years. Fish are normally caught in the wild. Techniques for catching fish include hand gathering, spearing, netting, angling and trapping.
