Imadobashi Bridge

[ 1900s Japan - Local Scene in Tokyo's Asakusa ] Imadobashi Bridge spanning the Sanyabori canal in the Asakusa district of Tokyo. In the back is Matsuchiyama, a small hill on the west side of the Sumida River. On top, Honryuin Temple can be seen. Locally known as Matsuchiyama Shoden, it is a sub temple of Sensoji and dedicated to Bishamonten, one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck. 20th century vintage postcard.
