Globe cup Goblet, Representing a Terrestrial Globe, The earth globe is carried by Emperor Augustus and stands on a triangular base, decorated with sea monsters, cartouches and shells. A medallion is attached to the bottom. The medal and the cartouches bear inscriptions, which explain why Augustus and Alcmene have been given an honorable role.
