German Women Vote for the National Assembly,1919

Election for the National Assembly, Berlin. Women voters, for the first time granted privilege of equal suffrage, in front of ballot bureau where votes are cast. In Germany women were granted the right to vote and be elected from November 12, 1918. The Weimar Constitution established a new Germany and extended the right to vote to all citizens above the age of 20. Underwood & Underwood, February 28, 1919 (cropped and cleaned).
