Luminescent Mushroom (Panellus stipticus)

A species of glow in the dark mushroom, Panellus stipticus. This naturally occurring bio-luminescent mushroom is common in New England forests in the fall. This species lives on partially decayed oak and uses a unique chemical reaction to digest chemicals.
