Qian Wenxiang, Engaged in Covert Struggles and Died with his Policemen Colleagues, the "Four Police Martyrs"

Qian Wenxiang (1924-1949), a member of the Chinese Communist Party, from Sheng County in Zhejiang Province. He was a police in the Shanghai Police Department, and actively engaged in covert struggles. He was arrested on May 13th in 1949 and went through tortures, yet he protected his party and colleagues. He was killed with his colleagues Qian Fengqi, Liu Jiadong, and Jiang Zhiyi, and were referred to collectively known as the "Four Police Martyrs".
