The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is identified as the place both of the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth. Originally built by the mother of Emperor Constantine in 330 A.D. The original Byzantine church was destroyed by the Persians in AD 614.
