Heidi is a 1937 American dramatic film directed by Allan Dwan. It tells the story of a young girl who is taken from her home with her grandfather to be a companion to Klara - a spoiled, crippled girl. It starred Shirley Temple and Jean Hersholt and was based on the book by Johanna Spyri.
